At a yak nomad camp at 16,300'. Crossed a 17,400' pass yesterday to get here. Made it to
our prime target. Found a cave used in 11th c., but it was 40 feet up a sand cliff face.
Sent a Tibetan with ladders and ropes to verify that there was nothing in it. Am now the
only living person in 500 years to be able to verify that there is nothing in the cave.
Found some interesting primary source materials (books) that need to be decoded on return.
This is so you. I keep thinking that I really should have had you join us. Going for a walk
to find the world's most beuatiful bathroom view. Going to be looking at grazing yak against
snow capped mountains. Think Pinto can match that?
Sat phone works episodically. Did a few hundred million worth of transactions from this
place and am laughing at the world.
