Attached proposal for the purchase of Water Reel Irrigation System for the Ranch
I did not go to Delta CO as discuss, the owner of the Ranch there called and informed me he had to shut his system down to to drought
conditions.
Also there where a lot of forest fires in the area.
As discuss, I did speak with him at length regarding his operation and his overall impression of the system.
John Wendt has 2 x 200TL units in operation , which cover 18 acres of pasture land .
He highly recommends them and would be of assistance if need in the future.
He also explained how his system is setup, this was very helpful.
What I propose the Ranch purchase one unit now and run it with existing pumps and pipe as a test to figure out the operational
characteristics for the ranch.
During the next few months design and install the New Pumps and piping system to support 2 units for next years irrigation season.
How do you wish to proceed.
regards Brice

FYI
This what we are recommending for the irrigation system for the 20 acres under the Permit
EFTA01004092
I plan this month, to view a system in action in Delta CO
After that I shouldn't be able to figure how to apply this equipment to the Ranch's Requirements and design
the infrastructure to support.
The costs for the T200L/580 equipped with the twin max sprinkler and the optional 13 h.p. electric start
booster pump with the Honda engine would be $16,450. Shipping to Stanley, NM 87056 would be
$600.
All equipment is in stock, but pumps require a few days lead time to configure and mount on the reels
prior to shipping. The 13 h.p. is self priming and can draft surface water as well as function as a closed
line booster unit.

Good afternoon
EFTA01004093
By 11/1/2019 the Ranch needs to apply 68 AFA from the Wells (2) under Permit E7871, as of date the Ranch has achieved 50% of this
amount.
The Attached map highlights in green the required 20 acres to be irrigated under Permit E787I. The terrain is undulating and sections
have been fenced.
To meet the conditions of the Permit, The proposed plan is to apply water to existing grass lands within the 20 acres for the grazing of
live stock.
Please note: OSE will inspect PBU/Lands, operation and infrastructure under Permit E7871,
The recommendation at this time its to use a Water Reel Irrigation System. it appear this system should be able to handle the terrain.
www.waterreels.coralindex2.ivnu.
This seems, the most logical and cost effective solution at this time.
The Ranch would need to Survey and Mow area to be irrigated.
Install a network of feeder pipes to different sections of the 20 acres to connect 2 water reel units
In the mean time I will continue to research other options and start compiling final cost associated with Stage 3. using a Water Reel
application.
Is this OK?

Good Morning
Attached photos for your reference:
1. On Site Fabrication & Installation of an Intake Screen for the Water coming from the Pond
to the Distribution Pumps has been completed
2. Upon JCII's recommendation a Waterfall has been Constructed at the Prevailing Wind
Corner of the Pond. This will assist in the Aeration of the Water. There maybe a need for
Floating Solar Powered Sprinklers in the future.
3. Compaction of Pond Sides & Base will be completed by the end of the week, this
obviously help with Water Retention
4. Engineering & Design (JCH) of New Pump Skid & Distribution of Water from the
Pond to the PBU (20 acres) is in process. Proposal will be forwarded once received
5. Filling of the Irrigation Pond will commence next week & will continue during the
Winter.
Transducer readings will be taken weekly to monitor water production vs demand.
6. The next stage is to Engineer a Solution to Irrigate the 20 acres under the permit
with the less amount of expenditure, but meeting the requirements of the OSE.
