I think Noam prefers if you don't get directly involved. Although I agree it would be much easier.
Noam and I will request the information and send it to you.

ask for a list of assets , full accounting , and if he sent you the tax returns please forward to me. . they are only
partially informative. . noam is entitled to INCOME from the trust. not unrealized gains or profits. . or i
can merely have a call with the trustees to short circuit the process.

This is the answer from our lawyers. What should it be the next step?
Should we request the accounts for the marital trusts and for the NC Revocable Trust? Since when? I am
surprised that the lawyers from any of the sides (who, by the way, have studied together and are friends) never
told Noam that he should look into the accounts of the trusts or that he should be receiving the gains from the
trusts -- he was not informed about any of this, not even when he requested some money to complement the
payment of the taxes what was denied to him for two consecutive years. And the issue is not even make use of
this money (from the trusts), but to be correctly informed about his situation. The information is coming just
because you told us what to ask about (interestingly Noam and I were paying a lot not only to the new lawyers,
but also to the family's lawyer) and not receiving the right advices. THANK YOU!
Best.
"Dear Noam and Valeria,
In response to Noam's recent request for accounts of the marital trusts, we have reviewed our files and we were not
provided with any trust accounts. We have also reviewed the accounting provision in Carol's trust and it appears that
no annual accountings are strictly required, so it is likely that Max has not prepared them if Noam has no record of
having received them. However, a trust beneficiary is entitled to an account from the trustee.
Since we do not have copies of any trust accounts in our files, I have attached for you copies of all trust income tax
returns that we were provided with as a first step in your review of the trusts' financial information. These federal and
state trust income tax returns cover tax years 2010 (the initial year of the trusts) -2014. Please note that distributions
to Noam are reflected on page 2, Schedule B, line 11 of the federal income tax returns. I have not reviewed these
returns in detail. If you have any questions after you review them please let me know and I would be happy to go

through them with you and to follow-up with regard to any issues. With regard to 2015 and 2016 returns, I believe
these were prepared by Nick Nichols. Do you have copies?
Please let me know if you would like me to contact Max to discuss the matter of providing trust accounts to Noam. The
trusts will be responsible for any fees associated with this work.
Please note that I have sent you this email via securemail. If you have any trouble accessing these materials, please let
me know.
I look forward to hearing from you."
