To fix it, we need to =eset your home folder permissions. To do that, you'll need =o restart the computer into
the recovery partition, unlock the disk and =se the resetpassword utility:
Step 1: Restart in Recovery =artition:
1. Restart the computer =nd right before it chimes hold down =he Command + R keys until the while menu
comes =p.
Step 2: Unlock the =isk (since FileVault is enabled, we can't modify any settings =ntil the drive is decrypted:

3. Select the =acintosh HD partition and choose File > Unlock
4. Enter your =omputer password ("as...")
5. Quit =isk Utility

Step 3: Reset home =older permissions with the resetpassword utility
6. Click =tilities > Terminal
7. Type the following command: resetpassword (all lowercase, no spaces) and =nter
8. Select the Macintosh HD, choose your =ccount ("Story")
9. Click Reset at =he very bottom of the window. (Do not reset the =assword)
Once it finishes, =ou can quit out and restart and everything should function =ormally.
