I am on the Genapsys SAB. Genapsys produces smaller, more versatile devices than the Ion Torrent (Ion Proton)
devices from LifeTech (aka ThermoFisher). Genapsys can do DNA sequencing and potentially other
diagnostics. Illumina is winning in the US sequencing market, but last time I checked, this is not true in China.
I've been urging (for about a year) Genapsys to compile basic accuracy metrics that can be compared to Ion
Torrent and Illumina. Other potential competitors include Oxford Nanopore Tech (ONT) and Genia/Roche.
ONT is very small (70g vs I kg) and has much longer reads (250kbp vs 200bp)
Arc you considering a Georgarage LLC investment?
