Just spoke with him and he is very eager to work for you and leave middle east. He said after 3
month trial period he would be ok if you did not want to continue on.
He is confident that he would please you and also confident to find employment elsewhere if it did
not work out.
3 months = 13 weeks x 4500 = 58,500
please advise if this changes your thoughts from our last conversation
thank you

Rich,
I have talked to my accountant and it is possible for me to do the job as independent
contractor. As we talked about, I won't have many deductions to work with, but I
think I can make it work anyway, using the larger pension plan deductions
available. So if this is the preferred model, then let's do that. By living in Florida, I
also save the NYC city and NY state taxes.
There is a time issue that needs to be dealt with. On May 17, I am supposed to go on a
two week shake-down cruise on my employers new Yacht. I have to train the crew
and make note of all the items that are not working. It will not be possible for me
to leave my current position within that period, or the two weeks following when
Fm doing the follow up work.
So, I either have to give notice this week and leave on May 15th, or stay on with my
current employer until June 15th.

My preference would be to give notice now and start working for Mr. Epstein around
May 15th. If it could speed up the decision, I'm willing to do a 3 month trial period
where I invoice you $4500 per week. Then we can do the actual salary
negotiations based on actual performance results at the end of that period.
I will try to call you this morning NYC time to discuss
Best
