* I 7.5g of coffee, ground slightly coarser than for filter coffee
(I invert the aeropress, but most people don't - not inverting means some coffee
will start trickling down during the process)
* 040s, add 50 grams of water, I85F, bloom* 40-1:10, add 200 grams of water*
1:10-1:40 press gently
-> Stop *before* the air starts hissing out.
There are many different ways of using the aeropress. Below are some of the winners'
recipes from the last few years of aeropress championships. You'll notice the huge
variation in temperatures. I think the aeropress is a great little device to experiment
and find something you like, rather than following the perfect recipe someone else
developed. So feel free to ignore my recipe above and let me know how you go.
