Yes, this system appears to be a fundamentally basic analogue system.
If you are ok with a simple system, I am confident that we can either metal plate the existing switch plate,
fabricate a new overly, or replace the switch with a different aircraft grade switch.

Jeffrey,
I spoke with Eric, Ron, Mx guy on GIV and Joel, interior shop in Van Nuys,.

Eric's concern on whether the cabin lighting controls where a close loop digital cabin
management system that requires proprietary switches to operate the cabin lighting is not install in this
GIV. It is determined that original analog simple system, power in / power out lighting exits in this GIV,
which allows us to simply find a cosmetic nickel switch for cabin lighting control that is acceptable to your
taste, One that is power on / power off operation., . When Joel installed this interior in 2007 he simply
removed the cover plate on the existing switches and plated them in gold, and reinstalled.
The cost of installing a full digital cabin management system, close loop operation is expensive and
overkill in my opinion that utilizes the Creston touch screen controller you are not in favor of normally.
The way the GIV is wired at this time allows me easier install of entertainment system to your liking, such
as subwoofers and separate amps for the quality and volume you like.
Eric please respond if you disagree with my conclusion on this?
best regards,
Larry
