Being fully present in the moment is not exactly the same thing as not carrying an umbrella. Didn't
you ever carry an umbrella, and then have it not rain? Fm more interested in the meditation
aspects, and I enjoy the possibilities of experiencing a few moments of peace and happiness
everyday after 60 years of anxiety about the future. That's one good thing about aging, you finally
appreciate the present moments. I'm very sorry to hear about Warren, I know how fond you are
of him. He always could make you laugh. I just heard yesterday that John Palestrini is dying. hese
guys are too young to go. I plan (ha-ha) to live until I'm 100, I hope you do, too.
Love,

Whenever you have a minute, I'd be interested in knowing your criticism of Buddhism.
