Dear Dr Moscowitz
A schoolmate of mine had a stroke 3 years ago and now he is at home partly p=ralyzed, has a feeding tube and is bed
ridden. He has gained some hand move=ents and at times can pull the bed cover with his left hand. He also recogn=zed
me when I visited him and smiled as if he was trying to talk.
Is there a treatment or rehabilitation center for such patients and what are=success chances that he will improve at
least to speak and eat by himself?= Attached are some reports for reference.
Thanks
