Just to let you know how terrible the situation is in Paris and what the sc=ool has decided.

The decision t=at we have made after consulting with AUP faculty last night is that =b>fall semester 2015 will officially
end on the last day of classes, Decem=er 9th, thereby eliminating reading days and finals week and permittin= the many
students who have expressed their desire to finish their semeste= in Paris to go home 10 days early.

Each faculty member will take it upon him or he=self to adapt pedagogies to the foreshortened cycle, wrapping up all
the c=urse requirements by December 9th. It =s our fervent hope that most students will attend classes through the
9th,=leaving having finished their semester's work at AUP. Th=re is profound learning to be gained by weathering a
crisis.=/font>
We also recognize a=d respect that some families and some students, finding the current situat=on unbearably anxiety
producing, may wish to leave before December 9th:
In this instance, we offer options which may be exerc=sed by November 27 latest, on a course-by-course<=u> basis.
