Subject: LSJ storm
Jeffrey,
I'm tracking tropical storm "Chantel", expected to be south of St Criox Wednesday morning (winds 65mph),. It should be
well past LSJ by our departure Friday, except, the storm is heading toward south Florida,. To early to forecast, but storm
should pass East of Palm Bch Saturday morning over the Bahamas,. I'll keep you updated.
- I have a meeting/class with the FAA in Miami on Thursday 9:30am to obtain approval on my RVSM manual I have
written. RVSM allows the GIV aircraft to fly in altitudes of FL280-FL410 (28,000ft -41,000ft).
I normally do not take the last airline flight before a scheduled departure day (weather/mechanical problems may
occur), however, the only late airline flight departs Miami at 6:000pm in order for me to attend mandatory RVSM
approval process. I'll arrive St Thomas 8:50pm.
Is this arrival and last flight option ok with you?
Thank you,
Larry
