Dear Jeffrey,
With profound sadness and endless gratitude, we wish to inform you of the passing of
our teacher, Michio Kushi, the most significant voice of Macrobiotics throughout the
world. He dedicated his life to guiding people to health and happiness through an
understanding of the Order of the Universe and, in particular, the relationship between
diet and well-being. His lifelong dream and vision of One Peaceful World remains an
inspiration. Thousands of testimonials are now being posted on his Memorial Page.
As 2014 comes to a close, we also want to thank you for your ongoing support in our
work to reduce the incidences of PTSD in children who are impacted by natural
disasters. To that end, we are happy to share with you our most recent piece
