I should be fine -- my plane leaving JFK boards at 10:25P (10:55PM
takeoff). It is a 30 minute drive from 9 E 71st St to JFK, so if I
can catch a cab to JFK starting before 9:45PM-10PM, I should be fine
(checked in already; no luggage).
