I'm not aware of Amex ever sending flight notifications. Orbitz does. That's why I like
booking through Orbitz. I have seen no difference in booking through Amex vs Orbitz.. do you
guys?

I know when I book myself through Orbitz I always get notifications but it doesn't seem to
happen through Amex.
