John says the dinner will be the usual same top notch scientists (the ones you met at the TED
dinner) but he has not invited the billionaires...cause he really doesn't even know if they
will definitely be in town or if they would come...he just thought is would be an interesting
idea to have you host it and then invite them..but after thinking on it, he thinks it is too
much pressure to try and swing this and he will just leave as is...He has the restaurant and
doesn't have the time really to make it more than what it is already. He knows you are in
Paris and for you to fly back just for this party..well, he doesn't think it will happen and
he just wants to take the pressure off.
He says he looked at the list of scientists for the event and he thinks the list is weak.
John says the event is usually quite boring and he only intends to go to opening night.
