As you requested, Dan - an email reminder re: lunch with Dean Sork. Wednesdays any time after 11A work best
with my schedule but if it needs to be a different day of the week I can reschedule patients as needed.
I'm attaching the Course Development Proposal and CV Dean Judi Smith requested last month in advance of her
meeting with Victoria re: adjunct professorship and support for an Auditory Neuroscience of Music, Speech &
Voice Perception course that, like my Music Mind & Brain advanced topics seminar (Muslnd 103), would be
accredited for majors and minors in the Cognitive Science, Psychobiology, Neuroscience, Musicology,
Ethnomusicology, Music Industry. and Integrative Biology & Physiology undergraduate programs at the School
of Letters & Sciences.
Thank you again so very much for your time and interest and for joining The Institute for Music & Brain Science
Board - information about the Board and iMABS' mission is posted at http://www.BrainMusic.org. I will try to
schedule a Board meeting in the next few weeks via Google Hangout. David Alexander MD, a Neurology
professor who is Director of the new California Rehabilitation Institute in Century City, a UCLA-Cedars joint
venture that is the largest inpatient rehabilitation medicine hospital west of the Mississippi, also joined the Board
this week.
Yours,
Mark
