You are so "the best!" I will have time tomorrow to call Kayak place. We don't leave until almost 6pm and I
am packed and ready! If things aren't resolved by 4pm or so I will forward on to you. I can not wait to see
you...this has been way too long...let's not be this long again!

i think we would do single kayaking...I hadn't even thought about doing tandem! (however, now that you
mention it, I may prefer it!..but I doubt i could get a family member to take me up on it...I also do think my
vote would be more for the kayak simply because it is truly something different ...this being said however, I
think the bike tour would be super cool also...I just called the Kayak place and they are close (of course, but
thought I would try) I can try again tomorrow while at work. I also emailed them and referenced the fact you
had done so as well...thought it would be good to put on more pressure...I know you are traveling tomorrow
so let me take the reigns... if you want, you can forward me the email from Wheelhouse ...I can communicate
with them also...
AGREE the Canal Tour at 2hours...that is plenty of fun to be had!
Love you!!! xo thank you for doing this leg work!

Hi...so in between primping, packing and placing...my furniture in the basement I have some feedback on
Kayak vs. Bike Tour. I receive email back from Bike Tour people indicating that they could accommodate
us for that afternoon on a 2-3 hour ride. I also sent an email to the Kayak place asking for the same sort of
tour. I have yet to hear back from them. I am hoping I hear soon but I just sent the email to them this
morning! In thinking about the two options I think that you probably cover more ground and see more sites
of Detroit on the bikes but get some nature on the kayak's in place of that...not sure what would be better?!?
I did ask Pat and he said he would like to do both but if he had to choose maybe the kayak...so that puts
him on the same team as Ty. Truly I would be happy doing either. I will wait until tomorrow and try to call
the Kayak place if i don't hear back. We might not get to choose if they don't have availability but let's
hope so. I have a good feeling Henry would choose the kayaking as well.
Do you think we do single kayak's or tandem? I am sure Pat will need a single...it may be easier to do
singles so that we aren't crammed together sweating for two hours on an August afternoon!?

Here are the two links once again:

Thinking along the line of the Canal Tour as it is a little shorter in length...3 hours maybe long?

My contact at Wheelhouse recommended that we maybe do the Near Eastside Tour. She has already sent
me an invoice for this so I need to hurry up and hear back from Kayak place so I can let Bike place know!!
Love you,
