Today, the New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission
(TLC) is meeting to discuss rules that would leave Uber NYC
riders behind the rest of the world. We need your help today to
keep NYC moving forward!
The proposed rules would:
• Put Uber at risk of being shut down citywide if just one
Uber driver-partner has an expired vehicle inspection
sticker
• Make NYC the only city in the world to require mobile
applications to be approved by a transportation agency
The TLC's leaders are solely accountable to Mayor Bill de
Blasio—they can put these rules in place without the say of
New Yorkers or even our elected City Councilmembers.
We need you to make your voice heard. Tell Mayor de Blasio
to stop the TLC from implementing these rules.
