Dear Mr. Kahn,
We are pleased to provide you with the competitive proposal;
• The Scope of Work is as follows;
o Prepare and level sub base.
o Eradicate and remove weeds and organic materials from sub base.
o Compact sub base to insure stability
o Apply Tack Coat prior to asphalt concrete placement.
o Place new 2 inch asphalt concrete overlay.
• The Areas are of the following size; 13,000 SY
• Cost of Work - $525,000.00, in addition the cost per ton for in-place asphalt concrete in
excess of 1,500 tons shall be $300.00 per ton.
Contract Price: $525.000.00, for the total Scope of Work.
*Total Costs quoted inclusive of labor, equipment, materials and materials related costs, but is exclusive of barging to
and from Little St. James Island. Two round trips on barging is anticipated per thy. In addition, a 15 to 25 day
completion time is anticipated. The Contract Price is subject to change if there is any change to the Scope of Work.
