Subject: Boeing deal
Larry and Darren,
Elias was invited to meet with Mr. Diaz, and other guest, for dinner last night.
According to Elias, most of the conversation was related to a large aircraft engine transaction he is working
on and Elias could not even figure out why he was invited.
Towards the end of the dinner Mr. Diaz came and sat next to Elias and told him that he knows he need to
give the Boeing his attention, but he had been too distracted with the engine deal. He said he really needed
to just sit and read our revised term sheet. He said the offer was printed out and sitting on his next and he
would review it tomorrow (today).
Elias, said he does not want to get his hopes too high, but he said nothing was mentioned about price.
I told him that if Mr. Diaz has any issues with the agreement when he calls today, that it would make sense
to just pull me in on the call, and I would pull in Larry and Darren so we could just work through any issues
and stop the delayed back & forth. Elias said that was a good suggestion.
Elias, then went back to his commission agreement. He appreciates that it is signed but he is concerned
because it was signed by EQUUS and not JEGE. I explained that it was not an issue, it was already agreed
upon, and I would air his concerns.
In thinking about it since my conversation with him, it may be worth having someone from JEGE sign it as
well if it helps us to get direct to Mr. Diaz sooner!
