I spoke with Elliot from Audio advisors and learned the following:
The Model LS 9600e which is HDMI and wireless will not be out until March 2015 - Cost $6,000
Unit you have LS 10000 is difficult to get but he thinks if we respond quickly he can have by end of next week
Cost is $7,000
I spoke with James and he believes that we can use IOGEAR to make unit a wireless HDMI video transmitter
Cost of IOGEAR is 548 on amazon

Ah. It looks like the technology has advanced fast since I last looked at it. Here is a good breakdown:
http://m.thewirecutter.com/reviews/the-best-wireless-hdmi-video-transmitter/
The best options are one of these systems (differences are in signal strength and the number of inputs -- the first
option "Long Range Wireless 5x2 HDMI Matrix PRO" is the strongest and gives 5 separate inputs):
http://www.iogear.com/wireless-ay.htm
It's listed on the French Amazon site so it should be French regulatory-compliant.
I would caution against putting the transmitter (and HDMI sources) in a separate room -- the thickness of the
walls are likely to degrade the signal -- but it should work well within a cabinet in the same room.
