hi jeffrey,
i did a little sample on the crown molding in a corner where i could reach it. you can see in the first two
attachments. on the right side of the corner i gold leafed the entire cube and then below i gold leafed the inside
of the long lines.., and i think its too much.., but on the left side of the corner you can see there are only some
long verticals gold leafed lines and above those cubes.. i gold leafed only like less then an inch in the middle of
the cube.., and i think it looks better. it looks more delicate..
also we gold leafed all the small balls and those small things at the bottom at the stair rail. it looks good..i dont
think needs more gold..
what do you think with the crown molding at the ceiling.. do like the left size of the corner?
