Jeffrey,
I want to make the Nautica perfect before shipping,.since we are in FLL with access to the best Maintenance.,
We installed the New AC unit which works great, a lot of cold air with good volume of air movement,.
I'm struggling the with Generator,. At some point there was water intrusion when Ed owned the boat,. There is a
water line on the Windings that produce the 220VAC„.. also, the generator is surging when Ethanol fuel is used,,.
causing Voltage to spike from 220VAC to 280VAC,., we blew the computer board on the New AC unit,. I was
able to exchange via warrenty,.
The current Generator is carbureted,. And has a Bearing noise as well I'm concerned about.
Option 1,
Overhaul and rewind the coil for voltage and install new carburetor,.
Estimate $1800 to $2600.
Option 2
New 2017 Generator with fuel injection system and upgraded fuel pumps,.
List price $9800,. Boat show price $9100,
Runs on all unLeaded fuel,. Even ethanol fuel additive,.
Our best price $8900 with Free installation with trade in of our old Generator.,
Pls advise if you want repair, or New Gen?
