Once we have the 430 in the hanger in St thomas, I'd like to try different tugs for pulling the helicopter into
hanger, (silver Polaris on LSJ, ATV 4x4, and gator I have already on the airport, its an old gator 4x6,.
I'd want to make sure we have a smooth tug, my goal for a typical departure is as follows:,
- Land at Customs ramp with helicopter, shut down, and have Roy tug the helicopter to our hanger. This will
expedite departure and avoid engine start for repositioning of heli. Unless you prefer me to reposition the heli
prior to departure?
We can try different methods and see which makes sense.
I prefer a smooth transmission tug for heli operation.
I'd like to see how maneuverable the silver Polaris on lsj is for towing helicopter, if your still thinking in
replacing with eletric type vehicle for house keepers?
