If boat has all electrical in place then we need to have a working battery for survey tomorrow for it to be
complete and accurate. How will we know if these functions work if not tested. Thank you.

Greetings all the vessel in Virgin Gorda is ready with seats, cushions, inside lighting, navigation
lights, steaming lights, there are bilge pumps in the bilges and are all connected to a switch panel.
There are four old large starting batteries which were charged by the alternators, all the wiring is
there, they just never intalled a battery charger or set the boat for shore power, I will do that in house
and will add to expense list. The windows are in good condition, the floor has rugged gray epoxy
coating similar to the barge. Wiper motors are there just need new blades, Bottom paint looked new,
and the hull sides just need a buffing, the boat has been at the yard for a while and is very dusty.
The verbal quote from offshore marine for yanmar diesels of 40 to 50k each includes transmissions.
thank you Carlos

Boat is being surveyed Sunday by same individual who did little c.
Surveyor asked for batteries to be charged and Carlos said that boat did not gave electrical
system. Therefore I have been pushing Carlos to capture all costs if we were to move forward with
purchase. Attached lays out Carlos estimates yet does not talk about electrical?

Greetings all
Offshore Marine
(2)360-400 horse power yanmar diesels with transmissions. Exact model and horse power to be
determined when they examin vessel and take measurements. Verbal estimate from Harald at
offshore marine, between 40k and 50k per engine and 10k install and gauges.
Capt Benji Shwartz
This person runs a boat towing business in the usvi and can arrange for new vessel pick up from
Virgin Gorda. His rate is 275$ an hour that does not include customs fees. I estimate a full 8 to
10 hour day for this depending on ocean conditions. Between 2,200$ and 2,750$.
Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbor
The storage bill in the yard is the sellers responsibility, the travel lift charge to launch the boat is
the buyers. This comes to 456.00$ dollars (38 feet at 12$ a foot)
Other expenses
Garmin GPS 721 similar to Nannas is $998.00
Standard horizon VHF radio GX1300 is 125.00$
Boat registration 150.00$
Life Jackets (30) at 11.00$ a piece.is 330.00$
Fire extinguishers -At LSJ
Flashlight/ Flares/Misc safety equipment, 300.00$
Haulover Marine
We might incur in storage fees and maybe crane fees, since they are right next to offshore and
they might need them for pulling engines inside the vessel. Also some machine shop work might
be needed when connecting motors to shafts and props.
Im sure there will be other expenses related to this project I will do my best to try to forsee them
and let you know. There might be a BVI government charge for exiting the territory I will try to
find out.
Thankyou
Carlos
