I am sad that you did not bring the article about the Nobel Prize in Physics!!!:(
Anyway, it was given to 2 English dudes from Manchester for their discovery of graphene.
Graphene is a thin one atom thickness carbon version. A kind of carbon snowflake.
The 2 guys will split $ 1.4 million
The carbon is arranged in FLAT Hexagon Lattice ( think of a chicken wire) , one single atom thick.
Ok, so why is this cool
It is the THINNEST material in the world AND one of the STRONGEST and HARDEST!!!!
It ALSO conducts electricity as well as copper and conducts heat better than any other material!!!
And it is transparent!!
Its use is endlessmm It is the coolest thing in physics right now.... A Lady Gaga of physics:)
