The speaker list is here
http://www.singularitysummit.com/program
Peter Thiel, who is listed near the top, is the PayPal founder whom I mentioned (who wanted
to start his own currency outside the scope of nation-states, but wound up getting rich from
selling PayPal to eBay instead...)
Marcus Rutter, the "theory of AGI" guy whose math I've been connecting to my own AI system,
will also be speaking, along with his former PhD supervisor Juergen Schmidhuber (both of
these are truly brilliant German AI guys ... not really practical AI-system-builders
though...).
My friend Itamar who is a great AGI at U. of Knoxville will be there too. (He is also
considering moving to China because it's impossible to get AGI funded here, though he's well-
funded by NSF for other sorts of research... ;p)
I don't have the participant list, but I'll pass it your way if/when I get it. I'm not
involved with organizing the Summit, just speaking there...
thx
