Please see the attached quotes for your review. Option 3 is the same size as the system you have now. Option
one is the next size up and will give you the extra energy storage to minimize generator usage. If you are
definitely connecting to the grid I don't see the need to go with option #2.
You have a solid foundation to keep your island off the grid. Your current solar energy solution would cost
$200,000 to build without any batteries. If you go with option #3 you will have a $270,000 power solution and
you could double the entire system for less than $200,000. Please let me know if you would like me to design a
competitive solution to a WAPA connection.
Just for conversation sake would you mind sharing how much the WAPA connection will cost?
