BTW you may remember that CUNY's $20,000 for four months in town does not
cover living expenses-but if they permit the course to meet twice a week
for two month, i will live on Long Island and clear $15,000 minus
contributions to travel or research
or, i understand they do have some subsidized faculty apartments in NYC (i
would prefer the former)
i hope all is more than well with you
am a bit nervous about 7 weeks on the road but hoping i am still strong
enough and that once i recover i will be stronger still-it should earn me
about 8 to 10 bills for three weeks work in London
