all of my original work was extremely simple, natural selection (differential reproductive success) being
extremely simple (while selection for species advantage was both complex and wrong)
and the phenomena i applied it to e.g. (parent-offspring conflict) follows at once from r's being 1/2 in nuclear
family, reciprocal altruism with a cheater being the obvious basis for friendship and coordinated benefit between
individuals of low r, etc etc
later work more complex but not much and everything built up slowly and solidly from the simple foundation
daily life:
here i tend to be (at best) an acute observer of the behavior of those around me—WITHOUT letting them know
this fact; here in Jamaica, they can lie and cheat until their tongues fall out, i am just writing it down in my brain
without their knowledge, hence they keep it up
