first, your last phone call meant so much because it demonstrated once again that you care deeply about me as a
person, independent of the rest. Enough said, but thank you.
second, Lowell Sachoff, who is a retired trial lawyer and was the only person on the board of the bulletin who
voted against asking me to resign, called me yesterday, and I think I alluded to that call. Today he called me
again to clarify his position, which you will be pleased to know, resonates with your own. he said I should get
legal advice, but absolutely not have a lawyer represent me in the University proceedings.. for much the same
reasons as you indicated. Lowell has represented people in similar circumstances.. and he said what he tells his
clients to say is that "I have talked to lawyers about representation and they all say the same thing: You don't
need me"..
Anyway, Justin got back to me and said he is happy to talk to you this weekend (he knows of course who you
are)
