Im sorry we won't be spending my birthday together. Thank you very much for sending my things back. It
was very thoughtful and kind, especially the packing. As I'm now sure you are already aware Im heading out
west with my boss to meet with his VC friends. Since you had clearly mistaken my discipline for privacy as a
" lack of transparancy " , I wanted there not to be any awkwardness between us in the future . You probably are
already aware that he is close to some of your investors. and will be spending time with sa few of them. Be
assured I have only good things to say about you and your co. As a few of them already know of our
realtionship , ('Ive spoken highly of you in the past). I thought that might be in our mutual interest that you and
I agree on a benign story for our breakup. I will leave out your hard -handed abrupt dismissal ie , sending me
out in the middle of the night , which I am sure is not the standard taught in any B school nor the paranoid
monitioring of which credit card I may have used. I only wish you well. as they are all workoholics I could
say that you didn't have enough time given your commitment to the co. or whatever you prefer. Be well
