On February 22, BuzzFeed published a highly inaccurate libelous story. I. To those friends,
colleagues, and others who have written me kind notes of support, I want to thank you
To those who have expressed anger, towards me . I understand the disappointment you may have
experienced upon reading the story. It has been very hard to remain silent thus being attacked by provably false
claims.
Claims that have been debunked over and over, but reincarnated in the current zeitgeist.
. While it has gone against every grain of my nature , my teachings and discipline re false claims I have been
asked not to
immediately speak and write against therna
have been advised by many individuals, wiser and more experienced than I in these matters,
to wait until all the facts were out so the public could see them. I have been accused of making inapprotiate
comments not exposing a louis ck style science experiment. not a harvey weinnstein abuse of employees. no
showers massages. . promises of stardon. I have been accused of making imapporiate comments.
In this statement I aim to address three questions: Did BuzzFeed portray me accurately?, Was
the story accurate?,
Before I move to a more elaborate response to these three questions, I want to stress two
things. First, I am on a required while ASU now spends the next few months researching these claims
I will of course immiediatily inform the public of the results once
that review is concluded. I am confident that the required review will end as the past ones did. showing maybe
poor socail skills. but definetly no harassment. . Second, nothing I am about to discuss here is intended to
diminish
the importance of the publics ddressing the serious issues of sexual harassment and sexual assault
wherever they occur.
I. Does the story
