As you know, the ball has been in Leon's court on this issue for several months now so I have no control over
timing on this.
However, if you want to get this done quickly, I suggest that you reconsider the approach I suggest several
months ago when I first contacted you for a signed copy of Jeffrey's 2007 resignation. To refresh your
recollection, I suggested that, since everyone acknowledged that Jeffrey resigned in 2007, Jeffrey could either (i)
sign a new document indicating that his resignation was effective in 2007 and that the document was being re-
executed because the original could not be located, or (ii) simply sign a duplicate copy of the document Weil
Gotshal prepared and Jeffrey agrees he already signed in 2007 (previously forwarded to you). Again since
everyone intended and understood the resignation had occurred in 2007, I do not see a problem with either
approach.
