I had enroll in a home hospice program LAST FRIDAY. He's on it. They have
already brought bedside comode, walker, wheelchair, portable oxygen etc. medications
for pains/ anxiety/cough. They have a social worker who has been in touch with
and can speak w daily; emergency home nursing visits are available and they are
available by phone 24/7 . We are on top of it. With Arnie and another home aide (so that
there is someone besides at the house 24/7) we will do fine.

I commented earlier that I believe his condition is very fragile and he can die at any
point; I would be surprised if he lasts 3 weeks; (note I have not SEEN him in 10
months). has lost it but since WARREN requested he die at home I think it would

be best if has the proper supports and he stays at home. I talk to her daily and I
think she will get by; she will collapse emotionally once he does die irrespective if it it
is in his home or at a facility. As long as she knows we are supporting her I think it can
be done. Years from now there wont be any guilt she didn't carry out his last wishes.
There is no getting around the profound sadness of this miserable death.

Very generous of you . He probably should be in a facility but he wanted to die at
home. I'm hoping with basic 24 hour/around the clock assistance; the hospice
team as needed, and my talking to herein get through it. If it becomes
intolerable and he is truly out of it I'm sure he can be moved. For now lets try to
follow his request.

condition is deteriorating rapidly. As of last night he was hallucinating. Earlier
today she found him on the floor and he wasn't able to get up Alone or with her
help She waited for the assistant Arnie to arrive. Right now she's waiting for a
wheelchair to be delivered. She's also going to request help for the nights as well
She just wanted to review this with you She herself is truly overwhelmed I spoke
with him last night and his speech is very garbled and his answers are somewhat
confused. Just wanted to keep you informed I know was anticipating that
you Terry would be by today . Just think she needs reassurance that with it to
support her and I have done that My senses seeing him is going to be very
demanding emotionally As I Said speaking to them every day inviting her how to
utilize and intervene with the hospice program I'll keep you informed
