Still trying to decipher the message but here are my comments:
1 The structure is all in concrete and will be to hurricane standards - so no issues with the strength of the
structural elements
2 Not worried about wind loads as we will design to beyond code levels as we have an amazing Structural
Engineer who will work with the local engineers. We are doing this at Cabo where it was smashed by
hurricanes last
year.
3 Not worried about heat loads as we have an amazing MEP consultant
4 At Cabo we have worked with Vitrocsa and they can provide Miami Dade rated hurricane windows if
required.
5 Putting intermediate concrete panels within the windows not a problem - I will revise my sketch to show
these intermediate concrete panels
6 The idea of this sketch is the concept. We can out the house much lower down on the north side as per the
original house but this will not get sun all day round from sunrise to sunset.
Best
John

1 it is a hurriance enviromment. . dont be fooled by the lush trees.? heat loads and wind loads are great. .
i prefer something more concrete and solid. as it needs grounding.
