Happy Birthday, Sir!
I've prepped an iMac Pro & backup drive for Paris. They'll be marked for the plane. Attached is the migration
instructions, the referenced cables are in the box.
We'll have a 4K AppleTV for Paris as well. It should be as simple as swapping the power, network and HDMI
cables with the existing 4th Gen AppleTV. That will get you at least 1080P; getting 4K will require:
• The receiver to do 4K passthrough
• The HDMI cables to be HDMI 2.0 or higher (CL2 rated, if it goes in-wall)
• The HDMI cables to be less than 5 meters in total length
All of this should be known by the AV tech in Paris.
waiting for a Microphone for Woody to arrive at the house, before I'll take it over and connect for him. The
iMac setup went smoothly, and I believe Soon-Yi will encourage him to use it.
The headphones helped with the dictation software picking up his voice, but he wasn't keen on having them
clamped over his ears, so we're going to try a good podcast-rated microphone instead.
Thank you,
