I wrote him, but he's half-way into a one-month vacation tour of Australia with his grandchildren. Haven't hear
from him in two weeks and don't know if he's in email range. He's back Sept 2nd. Will let you know. JB
Had dinner with Phil Campbell editor in Chief of NATURE. He's starting a new national charity in England with
20 million pounds from Wellcome Trust. It's for mental health - mostly research. He said "We'll take money from
anybody", which came up because I told him you were interested in this kind of stuff and he was, of course,
aware of the problems your friend ran into recently.
