Hi Sarah that is not a very good idea the preparation to the steel is more important than the paint application The
surface needs to be sanded properly which is very time consuming and important to the paint adhering to the iron
surface. Being this is the front of the house it really should to be done professonly and done by a very neat painter.
This work also should be done when the weather is warmer for the paint to dry and adhere properly. I would like to
wait for Michael to come back to do this work Ion said he will come back to help him with the front hall when Mr.
Epstein picks a concept. I think to protect the integrity of the front of the house this would be a better approach.
Please ask JE to reconsider his request, Its is for the best! Thanks Rich.
