Just had dinner with Marvin and Gloria in Brookline. I didn't realize that Marvin had a very serious surgery this
last year -- aorta replaced (if I heard correctly). It burst, and he was rushed to the hospital emergently. He seems
okay now.
Just wrote an essay for the Brockman question -- and he rejected it. Super puzzling to me... His question: What
worries you?
Spent the weekend at Dean Kamen's for the FIRST kick-off. Mike Dubno was there and he brought Richard
Garriott. Do you keep in touch with Mike? Fascinating guy. Same for Richard Garriott.
