Like a ninja or a slithering criminal with a black bag full of gear, I stole away to my chilly hideout in the dim
hours of daybreak. Wrapped in black woolen layers from head to toe, I began my three-hundred footsteps one
foot at a time heading for the Wollman Skating Rink. Tough still at the tender young age of 6 me and my
cohorts are comforted by the biting cold. Our guru /coach will son begin to encourage us to "murder these
girls" and say "no fly-bys, only drive-bys." But we are not a gang of assassins; we are in fact -an all-girls ice
hockey team.
