I have inspected the barge. There is a small 114" by 4" tear in the hull forward port. I'm putting sealer in it
and on it. It is normally above the water line.
There is some internal damage on the port where the bulkheads meet the hull. This is damage that can be
repaired later and will not hinder out use of the ship. I will send photos when the system allows it.
The hydraulic pumps are in Puerto Rico in the FedEx facility. I'm hoping they fly here today.
Motors run. No leaks.
I experienced a vibration in the port side on the sea trial that needs to be addressed at some future opportunity
but it's manageable but will slow us down a bit.
The information I got from Carlos about damage to the barge and lack of any operational function of it,
cannot be found. I have nothing positive to say about this.
Karl and I have pumped out and inspected each compartment. I have confidence that we are good to go as
soon as we receive and install the hydraulic pump.
