I spoke to Norman Williams today after he received the Email. He said Acting Commissioner Oriol discussed our request
with him and they will discuss it further when he gets back on Monday. He indicated Acting Commissioner Oriol is
considering handling it as a Minor Permit.

Greetings Mr. Epstein,
John spoke with Anthony Richards of the CZM permit department this morning regarding the letter submitted to
JP Oriol. JP is still on vacation and off-island until Monday, August 18, 2014, which is why there has been no
response from him.
Mr. Richards recommends that the letter be forwarded to Mr. Norman Williams, the new Acting CZM Director,
so he can become familiar with the project, and to Mr. Richards himself for follow up with Mr. Williams and Mr.
Oriol.
John will do so today.
