Spoke to Darren, he said auto pilot would have been ok„ he would've hand flown a little,
since he favors hand flying in some situations,
He also mentioned, and I agree,
the throttles where surging because of the increase and decrease of airspeed and turbulence.
When the throttles Hunt and Surge, it's best to dis-engage the auto throttles, so you as a passenger don't feel /
hear the engine surging trying to keep a predetermined airspeed.
