Regarding dock wood
Sylvester indicated the hard wood ordered after the hurricanes was for the replacement Storm Shutters in the
main compound, no hardwood was ordered for the dock
I contacted Jimmy
His Crew routed edges, but did not cut to length, I bundle of Pressure treated wood, which was left exposed on top of the Desal Building
The wood on the dock match's what was existing, except for 4 pieces, which will be replaced
please note we sorted thru 3 stacks frying to fine reasonable wood to lay
As discussed at Friday's meeting last week, the dock will have a heavy foot and buggy traffic on it for the next 2.3 months
Recommend
Sand Stain and marine varnish finish the dock to protect wood
Research alternative decking, that will be more durable to heavy traffic
Can we proceed with finishing the dock ?
