We have a serious issue with DUI failed during power up on Friday, Yesterday,
The captains Display Tube DUI was Blank.
It's a HAPP covered item,
Option 1 exchange the part,
However, there is no availability for exchange since we have the older style DU tube, and Honeywell is not
supporting this tube and supply is low for parts,
( we exchanged DU3 in Nov while in Savanah)
30 Day turn time for repair.,
is Unacceptable
Option 2 is what we are trying to do,
Upgrade to HAPP extended coverage which is $18k per year additional.
Will allow us access to the New Upgraded DU Tubes that "should" be available„
Option 3
Outright purchase of an "As Removed" DU Tube $80k
The listed value of each DU Tubes is $175k
