Yesterday Apple only announced iPhones & Watch. iPads & MacBook Air replacements are yet to come.
The iPhone XS is an improvement over the iPhone X—faster FacelD, dramatic camera improvements, faster
CPU & 512GB storage option—but it's not a lot to motivate upgrades from an existing iPhone X. I haven't seen
anyone complain their X was too slow or didn't have enough space.
The iPhone XS Max takes the iPhone X and scales it up to the size of the iPhone 8 Plus, so anyone that wants a
giant 6.5-inch screen...
The watch is still only good for notifications and fitness tracking. They've added "fall detection" so I'll
recommend it to a couple of my elderly clients, but if you didn't have use for the first one, the new one probably
won't excite you either.
iOS 12 will be out soon, and is safe for everyone to install—I've been running it for a month now.
MacOS 10.14 Mojave will be too, but I'd recommend waiting on that. There will be some big third-party
compatibly issues on it at first.
I'll have my recap newsletter out by the end of the week.
Thank you,
