NES is currently 200 Mbps download, 20 Mbps upload via Spectrum Business. We have a static IP that we
depend on for access to the camera system.
The AirPort Extremes are 802.11ac and have a theoretical cap of 1067 Mbps.
My clients with gigabit fiber see an actual WiFi limit of around 900 Mbps, or 970 Mbps via CAT6 ethernet.
The AirPort Extreme gets its connection via CAT6 ethernet, of course, so the theoretical 1067 isn't ever going
to happen.
The areas of the house that are wired as CAT5e or CAT6 will see the speed improvements. Any other areas that
have older wiring will likely not have as great of performance. The firewall installed 100% supports gigabit
internet.
Spectrum will need to run fiber into the house to get that speed, as will any other vendor (e,g, Steath.net,
Evergreen, Rainbow, etc.), which means a site visit to see if it's feasible to get fiber to there. That usually
means install fees and multiple year service contracts.
Paris has better intemet infrastructure overall than anywhere in the states, btw.
