This is a summary of the last week's focus, not a comprehension of all projects.
Carpentry. Rough-in lattice frames for LSJ tiki kitchen. Rebuild door at pool area — GSJ.
Electrical/Plumbing. Needed to move pressure tank behind one dishwasher in master, so one
dishwasher not quite complete. FPP sink and dishwasher wired and plumbed. Install tiki chandeliers.
Relocated water heaters temporarily. Demoed old pump and pressure tank under staff cottage. Hang
chandeliers in master tiki. Find the "rust antiquing" on the new wagon wheel chandeliers to be a bit
ironic.
Engineering. Oil changes — Caterpillar equipment. Rust remediation.
Heavy Equipment. Making and stockpiling stone for mason Danny for flowerbed wall at MC. Hauling
from GSJ to LSJ. Peter and Jules work on new septic line for MC at GSJ. Buck is working with Brian
and Donald on prepping site for the container structure in Christmas Cove. Amy coming Tuesday — will
also involve heavy equipment.
Housekeeping. Turbulent week for them with all the rooms torn apart. Been cleaning outside — gutters
where reachable, paths, walkways, etc.
Landscaping. Dug out by hand under staff cottage and concrete pour for pad for water heaters.
General landscape maintenance on LSJ and GSJ. Dupson on vacation. Be back Monday.
Marine. Little C not ready. Maybe midweek next week. Barge motor repairs complete. Resumed staff
runs Wednesday. Ferry was contracted up until the point. Barge schedule to go to PR Apr 22. Muffler
contractor on board w schedule. Rich needs to approve propeller purchase so can be installed before
Boscoe heads over. Patrick installed new helm on Zodiac and power steering pump on Sportis. Randy
on vacation. Back to work Monday.
Painters. Completed painting exterior of engineering buildings. Painted Cabana 4 pump room walls
and floor. Painted floor outside generator building. Paint GSJ shade structure.
Contractors on island:
Absolute Flooring -- Long-awaited crate arrived Tuesday. Luis here overnight Thursday to evaluate.
The scratch in the Master requires floors to be stripped and sanded in order to repair. Shall we
proceed? Will delay completion of master and overall floor project by at least a week.
Peter Elie — Pour on Monday columns and ring beam. Jules has stockpiled a considerable amount of
stone for Dupson to start. This dictated by when Peter Elie is ready to strip forms, allowing enough
time for everything to cure.

Jeffers — Continue prepping. Saturday complete hauling all white sand Jeffers requested. Getting it
from Crown Bay sand fill (not Heavy Materials). As of today, all gravel on island that has been
requested. Jeffers men here working.
Reefco - Finished Master cleanup and removal of old materials from ductwork replacement, starting
Master Bath in coming week. Also worked at hangar.
EB - Running out of work at Quansit until welder comes to install exhaust and designs structural steel
frames for overhead doors so EB can finish sheeting.
Danny - MC Pool Wall (complete)
Cabana and FP Pool countertops - EB offered alternative countertop as temporary or
permanent solution. Also have bid in from Ghislaine with Kitchen Solutions. How shall we
proceed?
LSJ Tiki Kitchen - Electricians hung chandeliers first, will rough-in plumbing, electrical, gas next, then
carpenters will set cabinets and build temporary wood tops. Carpenters also built lattice framing -
awaiting JE approval before permanently fastening. Ghislaine sent natural stone countertop sample
photos for tiki. Patterns may be too busy. Waiting for principal's thoughts or if should request different
material.
Other Notes:
One employee and one contractor have been released: Basilia "Dulce" Morales and Okeam Freeman
A Gator was rolled on its side and damaged. Driver was sore, but declined medical treatment. Back to
work next day.
Tiki shade structure on GSJ has been stained.
Failed to mention prior, roof structure for GSJ containers at Christmas Cove ordered
5 Palms bids are in. Rich ordered?
Awaiting second bid for gym doors.
Mike sent specs for wood for new gates. Daphne & Rich currently pricing.
Septic underway but hit much stone. Will finish trenching Monday then begin laying pipe.
Amy will be present to oversee removal of GSJ ramp Tuesday.
